Players earned their way to this year's championship by any of the following ways:
Please note that as of 2024 there are no longer qualifiers for the Junior Stroke Play Championship.
- All eligible past Junior Stroke Play, Junior Match Play and Junior Circuit Champions
- Top 20 players and ties from the 2023 VSGA Junior Stroke Play Championship
- Winner of the 15 and under age group in the 2023 Junior Stroke Play Championship
- All players advancing to match play of the 2023 VSGA Junior Match Play Championship
- Top five players and ties from a 2024 Junior Golf Circuit 36-hole tournament boys’ division (October 2023-June 2024)
- Eligible players qualifying for the 2024 VSGA Amateur Championship and/or State Open
- Any eligible player in the top 20 of the 2024 VSGA Junior Golf Circuit boys’ rankings as of June 24, 2024 that are not already exempt.
- Any eligible player who has previously qualified for the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship
- Up to three members of the host club (selected by club)
- The top three ranked juniors in the 2024 VSGA Men’s Player Rankings who are not already exempt as of June 24, 2024.
- Top 10 players and ties from the 2023 VSGA Junior Golf Circuit Championship Boys’ Division
- Top five sides from the 2024 MAPGA/VSGA Junior Four-Ball Championship
